Antique Jefferson Glass green opalescent footed bowl, likely produced around the early 1900s. Approx 9" across and 4 1/2" tall. Bottom half (green glass) glows under black light for uranium. (Hard to show in a photo due to the white part reflecting the blue light back- I only have a flashlight Blacklight) Item has an internal flaw or crack that is only apparent at certain angles, see photo. Can not feel the crack on the exterior of item.
Glass is pattered and has an opalescent quality gives the edges a milky green appearance, while the rest of the glass is a clear, bright green.
Jefferson Glass produced this line until about 1907, after which Northwood Glass produced similar items when they acquired the line.
